Vermont Summer

We spent July in Vermont. I was in search of a reset.
Ever since I turned 16 I have spent every summer working, hustling. Summer jobs (shoutout to Dunkin Donuts, my first ever job) turned into summer internships turned into summer weddings- and I could feel the magic of those long summer days slipping into distant fond memories.

I decided to make this summer as special as I felt summer was as a kid. I was determined to play, to run around in the grass, to make art, to look at stars, to swim, to get dirty, to be covered in bug bites and wear the same clothes everyday, to kick a soccer ball, to get scrapes on my knees, to dream…I was determined to make it magic. Aging be damned, I was going to have myself a whimsical summer.
